Lizzie Bate is a British expat living in The Netherlands, with 20 years teaching experience. Most of this has been in the Primary International Education sector. Together with her Dutch husband, they are raising their young daughter to be bilingual.

Lizzie has a teaching degree with a specialism in the English language, diplomas in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), as well as teaching TEFL online, and teaching TEFL to young children. She is undergoing a course to strengthen her coaching skills even further.

Lizzie has traveled extensively, spending time in South Africa, Australia, Egypt as well as numerous places within Europe. She speaks multiple languages and always enjoys learning more.
